Overwhelmed with teaching your children at home?

If you are struggling with motivating your kids, structuring your day, dealing with multiple demands on your time and attention, and cranky kids, know you are in good company! Homeschooling can be very challenging! 

My goal as a former homeschooler and RASD teacher is to set up support groups for parents who would like to join together online for moral support, laughs, troubleshooting, tips, and whatever else we can offer each other. I envision groups of about six parents meeting for an hour a week. If there is enough demand, I would organize groups by age of children.

I am not a professional therapist or social worker -- I am a community volunteer. However, my background includes nine years homeschooling my children, eight years teaching a variety of homeschool classes, eleven years teaching at Ripon High School and Lumen Charter High School, and hundreds of parent-teacher conferences. I also have several years of experience working on three crisis/counseling hotlines.
