My therapeutic approach involves recognizing and fostering one’s own strengths. We all develop ways of thinking, behaving, and coping to help us survive or reduce pain in certain situations. Problems arise when we continue to use those patterns in situations or at times when they no longer serve us in a healthy way. But change and healing are more than possible- we are hardwired to grow and heal. This is not to say we need to be “fixed,” but rather we can strive for healthier and more useful ways of living with who we are, what we’re facing, and where we are in life. Wherever you are in life and in your process, together we will approach it with dignity, honor, respect, integrity, and ruthless compassion. Keep hope alive, live with humor and humility, and hold fast to your dreams and authentic self.
